At 24.00m², the Grootklapper gives a particularly spacious feel. And, the extensive choice of 9 different layouts makes this model hugely popular. The Grootklapper easily accommodates four to five people and has the option of a LUXE version.
The Grootklapper comes standard with a complete kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen as standard includes a fridge, gas hob, tap and sink. With additional options for induction, dishwasher and washing machine. The bathroom is standard with a comfortable lockable shower cubicle, toilet and a sink. A nice feature of the bathroom is the infrared mirror; it’s nice and warm and takes up less space. Want to go for off-grid options? No problem, Klapkot offers several options for this, such as a dry toilet, solar panels, batteries, water tanks and a pellet stove.
The frame of the Grootklapper is made of aluminium, the inside of durable wood. As standard, the Grootklapper has aluminium anthracite cladding, you can choose to apply wood-look aluminium cladding or modified Scandinavian spruce (Vuré Noir).
The De Grootklapper features many windows to enhance the outdoor feel, with frames made from solid Western Red Cedar and HR+ glazing. Upgrade to HR++ is possible.

With a clever fold-out design, this model offers as much as 24.00m² of living space, ideal for several people who want to enjoy themselves together. Whether you choose a layout for two people or five, space has been considered in all layouts. And, everything on the ground floor, no dangerous steps to take you to a cramped much too warm sleeping area.
Four seasons
The Grootklapper is made for every season. All walls, floors and the roof are fully insulated; the clever fold-out construction does not compromise on this at all. The Grootklapper uses PIR insulation, one of the most effective forms of insulation. As a result, it always remains pleasant inside in the middle of summer as well as in the middle of winter.
Kitchen & bathroom
In the Grootklapper, you cook like you used to. The kitchen is equipped with a Technicall Matt worktop: stylish, scratch-resistant and heat-resistant. As standard, you will find a fridge, sink and a choice between gas or induction. If you want more comfort, choose extra options like a dishwasher.
The bathroom is complete and fully customisable. The Grootklapper comes standard with a shower, toilet, washbasin and a mirror with integrated infrared heating. The bathroom can be connected to the sewage system. Is this not possible? Then we offer solutions such as a dry or chemical toilet. Thanks to the clear specification list, you can easily put together your kitchen and bathroom with one of our experts.
Smart heating and climate options
The Grootklapper is heated with energy-efficient infrared panels as standard. If you want even more comfort, choose air conditioning, underfloor heating or even a pellet stove.
Solar panels
Want to power your Grootklapper with solar energy? No problem, a Grootklapper can handle up to six solar panels on the roof. Our staff will assemble and install them for you upon request.

Always mobile
The Grootklapper is on a trailer with registration number and can be approved as a caravan. As a result, you not only enjoy freedom of movement, but also practical advantages. For private individuals, this often means no or fewer building permits, no foundation and more flexibility: you simply place it and move it again just as easily.
For leisure operators, this offers scope to place more accommodation within the same permit, operate faster and move units without hassle. Sometimes caravan status even provides a tax advantage.
Experience through light and space
The large glass areas create a pleasant experience: inside and outside flow effortlessly into one another. As standard, the Grootklapper has two panoramic windows on the left side, a vertical window to the ground on the right, and a front with double door surrounded by glass. If you choose the Grootklapper Bunk Bed, each bunk bed has a fine square window. The bathroom possesses a skylight.
Choice of layouts
The Grootklapper is available in six smart layouts, so you will always find a variant to suit your needs.
Do you like to work in a quiet place? Then choose the Study, a lovely corner for working, studying or just relaxing. Prefer a more spacious bathroom? That too is possible at the Grootklapper Bathroom. For families or larger parties, there are options with bunk or even triple beds, so you can sleep four or five people comfortably.
If you want extra comfort, choose the deluxe version, where the bed box can be accessed via two entrances. Whichever layout you choose: the floor plans give a clear picture and make the choice easy.
