In the greenery of the North Veluwe lies Landgoed Barrebos, a small-scale family estate where various accommodations are rented out through a strippenkaart system. Guests buy strips and then choose when and in which accommodation they stay.
Because of the wooded surroundings, the client wanted the Grootklappers to have a green facade to give them the appearance of a forest ranger's hut. The Grootklappers are furnished with a box bed and a triple bunk bed, making room for five people. They also have a full kitchen, bathroom, gas, water and electricity and a wood-burning stove for atmosphere and warmth.
